About Justus Wanzala
I am a Kenyan journalist employed at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation newsroom in Nairobi as an editor/reporter. I file for various global outlets such as the International Press Syndicate (IDN-INPS), Thomson Reuters Foundation and Inter Press News Agency. I have been covering issues such as sustainable development, human rights, migration and climate change for about 15years. I hold a Diploma in Journalism from the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Studies (with specialization in Development Studies) from the University of South Africa (UNISA). I am currently working on a Master thesis in Development Studies at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in Nairobi, Kenya. I am fluent in English and Swahili languages.
