Ossène Ouattara is a journalist, founder and director of infoduzanzan.com, an Ivorian regional media outlet. He worked as a researcher with the UN Expert Group in charge of monitoring the arms embargo on Côte d'Ivoire. He has participated in several meetings around Africa. In 2014, he was a finalist at the CNN African Journalist Awards in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. In November 2015, he took part as a delegate at the 7th African Media Leaders Forum (AMLF) organized by African Media Initiative (AMI) in South Africa. The Tony Elumelu Foundation invited him to Lagos in 2016 to cover his forum dedicated to African entrepreneurs in Nigeria. Mr. Ouattara is a member of the Network of African Journalists observing the nicotine and tobacco industry.
